Privacy policy

This policy explains what information All Online Tools (allonlinetools.net) collects and why. The short version: the files you work on never reach us. Our tools run inside your web browser, on your own device.

Your files

When you choose a file, it is read by JavaScript running in your browser tab. Conversion, compression, OCR and every other operation happen on your device. Files are not uploaded to our servers, not stored, not logged and not shared. When you close or reload the tab, the file data is released from memory. Two features can involve other services, and both say so on the tool before you start:

• OCR and some viewers download open-source program files and language data (for example Tesseract.js from the jsDelivr CDN). Only the program is downloaded — your images are not sent anywhere.
• Translation uses your browser's built-in on-device translator where available. If the site operator has configured a self-hosted LibreTranslate server and your browser has no built-in translator, the text being translated is sent to that server to be translated and is not stored by us.

Information collected automatically

Like any website, our hosting provider receives standard request data (IP address, browser type, the page requested, time) to deliver pages and protect against abuse. This data never includes the contents of your files.

If analytics is enabled on this site, we use Google Analytics to understand which tools are used, with IP anonymisation. Analytics records page views and basic device information — not file names or file contents.

Advertising

This site may show ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to show ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings, and learn more at how Google uses information from sites that use its services. Where required by law, you'll be asked for consent before these cookies are set.

Cookies

The tools themselves don't need cookies. See the cookie policy for the cookies that analytics and advertising may set.

Children

The site is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them.

Your rights

Because we don't receive your files or ask you to create an account, we generally hold no personal data about you beyond standard server logs. Depending on where you live (for example under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 or the EU GDPR), you may have rights to access or delete personal data.
